Synopsis

A class A++ commercial building in the center of Brickell was looking to consolidate its aging Cisco infrastructure, which handles all internet services provided to their tenants in the building. Furthermore, they were also looking to simplify the fiber handoff services processes and improve wireless capabilities to offer its guest and clients as a service.

Challenge

Architecting an enterprise level Cisco based routing, switching and wireless solution to consolidate 30 IDF closets throughout the 40-story high rise building into 12, while also adding in backend processes to simplify fiber provisioning for their tenants and reducing incurred annual operating expenses.

Solution

Through the carefully architected process of placing few IDF closets, updating to a newer and improved Cisco LAN & WAN infrastructure, the client was able to achieve simplifying their processes and gain better visibility into their network including the guest wireless.
